Lego City Undercover was an excellent exclusive WiiU title.I Loved that game so much and i have not finish the game completly but i have played it for 150 hours.Now when i found out about the 3DS I automatically preorder it.I got it yesterday from my local game store and i have to say im amazed.This game has all the open world that the WiiU has and i was surprised and amazed.You play as Chase Mccain the character you play as in the WiiU version.This is before he becomes an awesome funny police officer.He is a rookie and the first missions are just you doing small missions like rescue dogs from trees or getting the cheif donuts. On the technical side this game pushes the 3DS to its limits not graphically but open world.Resident Evil Revelations pushed the 3DS to its limits while Lego City pushes it with an open world.Since this game is open world and huge and also on the 3DS they did have to divide the game into different sections.The distance view is just 2 blocks.So wwhen your standing still or driving or moving you will only be able to see 2 blocks before there is fog.But when your playing a mission and your chasing someone there will be an arrow on them so you won't be able to lose them.Also the framerate is really not that good.When there are more than 4 people on screen the framerate drops.Sometimes when your just driving the framerate will drop.I play with my PC a lot so i really was not used to this but if your a console player you probably are used to framerate drops. This game is a great game and im surprised that they were able to do an open world on 3DS but they did also have to sacrifice this with the game having a bad framerate and short long distance view.If you don't have a WiiU but want Lego City UnderCover i would recommend that you get The Chase Begins.Its Long game and this game and Monster Hunter3 Ultimate should keep me busy until i get Animal Crossing New Leaf.Also you could wait a couple of months for this game to cost $20.Anyway its a good game and hope this helps you make a descision.

This is a really fun game. After completing the first mission of getting the donuts you are free to explore and do whatever you want in the first part of the city. I spent over an hour driving around building buildings and finding new cars and costumes. It was really funny watching the construction vehicles go off the jump. I felt it was like a good guy version of Grand Theft Auto with Legos.I was really excited for this game to come out. Everyone said that the console version was really great and I hoped this would be as well. I went to read the reviews of the game today since there are few games that I would buy without knowing how it is. Like Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon. I had already preordered Pokémon X.But when I read the reviews today they all said the same thing. They praised it in the beginning before saying that it had a lot of technical faults like frame rate, low draw distance, and other faults and that it would get a low score. I think they all forget that this is a handheld game. Of course there are going to technical difficulties and its not going to be as powerful as a console. I think some of them forget the 3DS is a handheld not a console.Its expected for there to be load times given how large each of the areas of the city are. At least they tried to make it better with tips at the bottom. I didn't really run into any problems while racing around the city in the sports car. I don't really mind there being no voices since I think minifigures should talk. I think its funny how they act out what they are saying.They put a lot of content into this and it is like the console version and that made people think it is when it is a handheld game. Everyone should get this game and play it if you love Legos.

I bought this game from Walmart today. The Wii U version was great, so of course I HAD to get the 3DS one. It's a great game so far! I recommend this to everyone. I don't play a lot of Lego games, but I'm lad I decided to play this one!
