We own DS lite, XL and 3DS and these are too big to fit into any of them. They are about the thickness of a crayola crayon. The end is blunt. I'd have better luck using my finger.The slide-out part of the stylus is very weak and seems like would break easy.Since these are a complete waste, I will have to try again for a 3DS stylus, but for the other systems, I have been happy with Nintendo DS Lite Adjustable Stylus Pen - White and DSi XL Stylus - Black/Charcoal/Wine

They may be too big to fit in the console, but in a way its better because its confortable to hold while we play the games for a long time. For me its easier because if you drop it you can see where it went and it wouldn't disapper in thin air. And its in brighter colors too!!!!!

i love this product it shipped fast and looks nice with my 3ds i keep it in my travel pack and it is more comfortable than the standard 3ds pen and is more precise when drawing i love using it with colors 3d
