The case itself is rather large, but it's soft and convenient. (There's even enough room to put your old DS/DSi if you have one in the space next to where the 3DS goes, so it effectively carries two DS units without thickening up the case too bad.) The original-sized styli are slightly flimsier than the one packaged with the 3DS. The large stylus is cool; the tip clicks out like a real pen, but the pocket clip part of it feels like it may snap off if I'm not careful. The earphones, however, either came out of the box broken, or they're supposed to be unacceptably quiet and thus unusable. I plugged them into an iPod cranked up all the way, and the sound is still tinny and very soft (the 3DS volume output is not nearly as loud as an iPod can get, which is good because the 3DS will never hurt your ears, but there are much better earphones out there). Haven't applied the screen protectors yet, but they look like the exact ones you can buy all on their own from Power A. Decent package, but given the useless earphones, $40 is too high an asking price.

Hi:In Canada it's very rare that we as consumers get such a quality Nintendo product.The USA consumer is very lucky and seems to get this type of quality constantly. And Amazon.com always has such interesting objects for sale.My grandson simply beams when his video game friends ask him in total envy where he got such a Nintendo 3DS product.It is true that Grandmothers do give the best hugs, but grandfathers know exactly what to get a 9 year old grandson that has a Nintendo 3DS console.It's an excellent product that is quality plus, and every gamer that has a 3DS should have one !I hope my review was helpful.
