After watching a few different reviews including a Giant Bombcast quick look on it I bought it instantly. I regret this instant purchase, however, and wish I did a little more homework on the 3DS version.First, it really bugs me how there's no object editor at all on the 3DS version. I could understand the complexities of not being able to have multiplayer as a feature, but two of the biggest selling points of the game were just stripped from the 3DS version for who knows why!Second, this might as well have just been a regular old DS game since the 3D has no utilization so far (aside from the story, which in and of itself isn't worth mentioning). I'm about 3/4 through the game and I haven't seen any 3D at all aside from the intro. The game looks a bit better on the 3DS though, which is a plus.The only redeeming factor this game has for me to actually justify me finishing this game is the new open world environment instead of just picking each puzzle separately. It's pretty fun to explore and the environments are pretty varied. Even though each of these levels can be used as a sandbox I think I would have preferred a blank slate at the menu just like before instead of having to play around in a place already filled with stuff.In short: If you liked Scribblenauts/Super Scribblenauts and want more, look no further: This is exactly that with minor additions. If you're expecting a whole different play experience though this game might not be for you. Maybe you should buy the Wii-U or PC version instead (since they include the object editor and the Wii-U version includes multiplayer).

This was a fun game! I had not tried this before so I did not know what to expect, but I have to say that I was impressed with a number of things. First, I enjoyed the story sequence and the overall concept of the game itself. Second, The overall HD quality of the game was amazing and as a player you get some great add-ons that the designers threw in to enhance the overall game play. Third, the overall game play itself was a lot of fun, and there were a ton of areas within the game, where I felt that I was not going to be getting board anytime soon (that's for sure).Seeing that I had not tried this game in the past, as I mentioned, I had no basis to criticize from the past. That being said I was very impressed overall with the game itself and I, along with my eldest daughter had a lot of fun with the game and the characters within it!I know some others here stated that they were disappointed becuase they had been playing this for some time, but as a first time player, I was very impressed and satisfied with the experience!

I bought this for my son. He loves it. It is such a great game, It is education and fun. It requires imagination and problem solving skills not to mention practice spelling and yet is so engaging for my 10 year old.
